Day 1: Arrival in Cape Town
Tuesday: Arrival at Cape Town airport and meeting with the Italian guide who will accompany you to your hotel taking a small orientation tour of the city during the journey. Afternoon free to relax or if you wish you can head to the famous Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, home to numerous shops, restaurants and many other attractions.
Day 2: Cape Peninsula Tour
Wednesday: Breakfast and departure for a full day excursion to the Cape Peninsula. Along Chapman’s Peak (if open), you will reach Hout Bay for a short cruise to Duiker Island, then continue to Cape Point, the penguin colony at Boulders Beach, and finally lunch at a restaurant in False Bay. Weather permitting, stop off at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on the way back to the hotel.
Day 3: Day off in Cape Town
Thursday: Full day free for optional activities. During this day you can take cultural tours, visit the wine trail or venture out in search of whales.
Day 4: From Cape Town to Mpumalanga
Friday: After breakfast, transfer with the Italian guide to Cape Town airport in time for boarding the flight to Johannesburg where you will meet the new Italian ligua guide and will leave for the visit of Nelson Mandela’s house and the interesting Museum of Apartheid in Soweto. Lunch and departure for White River, in the Mpumalanga region. Overnight at the hotel not far from the famous Panorama Route.
Day 5: Panoramas and Safaris in the province of Limpopo
Saturday: Breakfast and departure to get to know the famous Panorama Route. The excursion includes a visit to Bourke’s Luck Potholes, The Three Rondavels and Gods Window. At the end of the visits, we head towards the Karongwe Private Game Reserve, located on the banks of the Makhutswi River. Arrival in time for lunch followed by the afternoon safari. Two nights in the private reserve with two daily game drives.
Day 6: Discovering a private reserve
Sunday: Full day dedicated to discovering the surrounding nature and the activities offered by the lodge. Do not miss the early morning and afternoon safaris during which you will have the chance to admire the splendid African sunset!
Day 7: Free day
Monday: After breakfast, departure for Johannesburg with a short visit to Pretoria, lunch during the trip. Visit of the Voortrekker Monument & Nature Reserve. At the end, departure for Johannesburg. After having accompanied you to the hotel the guide will greet you and you can spend the evening in freedom.
